Short description of the study programme |
The programme aims to train experts of environmental and regional economics, capable of analysing regional and sustainability-related problems, and propose novel solutions by putting their theoretical knowledge and acquired expertise to practice. Regional economics and management aspects of sustainability are important parts of the programme as well. Courses are highly workshop-oriented, where students may work together to focus local and regional aspects of actual global sustainability challenges. Our experts will be capable of creatively and innovatively contributing to sustainability and regional policy-making, strategic planning and project programming, both in governments and in private enterprises |

Admission procedure in general and general requirements: refer to admission regulations at www.bme.hu Minimum criteria: eligible diploma of BSc, successful admission test; Steps: - preevaluation of the submitted documents: quality of BSc diploma, quality of BSc transcript, obtained credits in specific fields (min 60 ECTS equivalent), additional evaluated aspects: quality of motivation letter, recommendation letter (if available), extracurricular activities - electronic e-admission test (via internet): technical knowledge; electronic admission interview (given that written test succeeded): technical knowledge, evaluation of language skills (the test is in English), motivation, attitude, technical preparedness in the selected field; Result: admission to MSc programme /admission rejected |
